As fans await the final season of GoT (Game Of Thrones), the series most popular actor is sending home a message. Actor Jerome Flynn says direwolf trend is bad for huskies.

In a recent video released by PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals), actor Jerome Flynn is seen asking people not to buy their own version of “dire-wolf.”  The rising popularity of this imaginary animal has started a new trend.

Flynn reasons, “Animal shelters are reporting a new surge in the number of huskies since buyers failed to understand the amount of money, patience, and time required to attend for these dogs properly”.

As per reports, the percentage of rescued dogs has jumped from 1.7 percent to 7 percent.

He is not the first responsible actor to request fans. Peter Dinklage expressed his concern when he came to know of abandoned huskies.  He reminded all his fans to be ready for a long-term commitment before adopting a pet.

Dinklage said, “Please, please, if you’re going to bring a dog into your family, make sure that you’re prepared for such a tremendous responsibility and remember to always, ALWAYS, adopt from a shelter,”
