In Britain, it is illegal or unlawful to own any of these breeds-

  • Pit Bull Terrier

These dogs breeds are not recognized in the UK. This means they are not part of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, later amended in 1997 and 2014.

This makes identification hard.

In that period, the Pit Bull remained the main culprit with 60 fatal attacks.
